A LÉTEZÉS egy tangó táncszínházi alkotás, amely az emberi élet útját járja be – a fiatalság sodró lendületétől az öregkor csendes belátásáig. A tangóban születik meg ez az utazás, az ölelés intimitásában, a lélek és a test mély kapcsolódásán keresztül.

Mire vágyik valójában az ember? Nehéz a válasz, hiszen egy tökéletesre teremtett világból a kiutat, a kiűzetés után az Édenbe vezető visszautat keresi folyton folyvást. Éva és Ádám című est ezzel az univerzális kérdéssel foglalkozik, két fiatal koreográfus alkotó mozgásnyelvén és művészi megjelenítésén keresztül.

The idea for The Nutcracker ballet came from theone-time director of the Tsarist theatre who, based on E.T.A. Hoffmann’s fairy tale entitled the Nutcracker and the Mouse King, wanted to stage a fairy tale ballet that would surpass all that had gone before, both in sound and in spectacle. Tchaikovsky was asked to compose the music and after Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty his third and final ballet was also a great success. It was the six-movement suite of the music of The Nutcracker that was first performed in March 1892, and in December of the same year the spectacularly presented theatrical work was also performed. The Nutcracker has become the most frequently played ballet piece of all time.

Some people need to immerse themselves in the world of a true classic every evening: this family fairy tale ballet by the Szeged Contemporary Dance Company gives every member of the family the opportunity to do just that.

Fiatalok vesznek el egy elvarázsolt erdőben, és miközben párjukat keresik, kiderül, hogy ebben a világban a szerelem csak függőség, a magány ellenszere. A kavarodásban a szerelmesek valójában egymásban keresik önmagukat – ez a keresés pedig boldogsághoz és boldogtalansághoz is vezethet.

One evening – two dance productions by the Szeged Contemporary Dance Company.

Why is the 400-year-old story of Romeo and Juliette, the world’s best known romantic tragedy, still so relevant today? Because love is eternal, the rebelliousness of youth persists, and the world is still filled with inexplicable contraditions.

Compared to Swan Lake, the well-known version of the classical ballet, I wished to rephrase the piece from another aspect, in a different light. In my interpretation, Siegfried is a young man with a split mind, who is being held captive by the traumas of his childhood as a result of his relationship with his mother.

The Fitos Dezső Dance Company is careful to regularly stage dance theatre performances that consider the authentic transmission of folklore and the cultures of various historical Hungarian regions as their primary goal. Transylvania Express is a selection of Transylvanian dances and music. With this performance, we want to convey the message that traditional culture lives on in all of us who believe in the value of keeping tradition alive—because tradition defines our future!

The evoked era in the performance coincides with the time of the original premiere of Swan Lake. At the same time the second half of the 19th century was also a period known for the spreading of mental hospitals; patients 'possessed' by animal spirits and treatments of mental illnesses by torture and other bizarre methods.

Pursuing happiness, love and affection through countless adventures across this great wide world, but still eventually finding a final peace in the arms of his beloved, Peer Gynt is one of the most complex characters in 19th-century drama.

Esküvői fieszta. Előadás az esküvőig vezető útról, a vágyról, a testiségről. Egy modern násztáncok világa tárul elénk, melyben három szerelmi történet bontakozik ki, a másik kiválasztásától a beteljesüléséig. A szerelem persze mindenkinek mást jelent, másképp éli meg, mást vár tőle, s mást ad magából az érzésbe.

A Ringató foglalkozásokon megismertetjük a kisgyermekes családokkal a zenei nevelés lehetőségeit. Célunk, hogy a szülők és a gyerekek átéljék a közös éneklés és játék élményét. Várunk mindenkit, aki maga is úgy érzi, fontos az, hogy a művészet eszközeivel neveljünk, aki szívesen énekel, bővíti a dalkincsét, vagy éppen önmaga bátortalan az éneklésben.

A betyárok a magyar néphagyomány jellegzetes alakjai. Népdalok, népmondák, balladák őrzik híres betyárjaink emlékét, de tárgyi népművészetünknek is kedvelt témái a betyárábrázolások. Alakjuk a népi emlékezetben gyakran idealizált hősként maradt fenn.

What we present is not the story of Kahlo’s life but an independent visual theatre vision inspired by her art and career about a dramatic but also colourful and lively world.

I have long wanted to find my way in the maze of self-knowledge, or at least to find meaning for my actions and reactions... because these are automatic answers ingrained in us from long ago. Over generations, we reconstruct these ingrained patterns, reliving them over and over again, with only slight changes...

What do people really want? The answer is difficult, since we are constantly searching for a way out of a perfect world, the way back to Eden after our exile. The Eve & Adam performance addresses this universal question through the language of movement and the artistic representation of two young choreographers.

Yvette Bozsik’s solo performance was inspired by Mineko Iwasaki, the protagonist of Memoirs of a Geisha. The performance takes viewers into the lonely, secretive, and personal world of Women of Dance and Art, the memoir of an elderly dancer who always danced with her whole soul. Yvette Bozsik’s iconic partner, Tamás Vati, also features in the performance, which reveals the inner work of a dancer’s self-knowledge, rituals, inner vibrations, and secrets in the triple unity of body, soul, and spirit. Yvette Bozsik’s solo performance was inspired by the autobiography Geisha of Gion by Mineko Iwasaki, the protagonist of the world-famous book and film Memoirs of a Geisha.
