A storm, a terrible windstorm, a hurricane sweeps the characters into space (into the present? into reality?) and then carries them even further (back to the past or perhaps into the future?), but they falter and cling (to what? each other? their memories? their desires?) and try to stay, want to stay (where? where are we exactly?).

Rhapsody as a genre is characterized by caprice and the passionate undulation of emotion, thoughts, and the freedom of expression. Hungarian Rhapsody incorporates all of the peculiarities of thegenre, relying on tradition, and drawing inspiration from it, to create a special and unique dance rhapsody.

Hinta, hinta, tündérhinta, repül, szárnyal a magasba… Ha az ember hintába ül, rokon lesz a madarakkal, szivárványszín pillangókkal, kitágul a láthatára, a lentet a fent leváltja. Aztán újra ringat a hinta, fel – le – fel -le, ahogy egykor anya karja. Félelmek és szorongások huss eltűnnek, elrepülnek. A tündérhinták táncosokkal nagyon egy húron pendülnek.

Why is the 400-year-old story of Romeo and Juliette, the world’s best known romantic tragedy, still so relevant today? Because love is eternal, the rebelliousness of youth persists, and the world is still filled with inexplicable contraditions.

Az Mimi című előadásunk a mágikus realizmus világában bontakozik ki. A történet a hétköznapok biztonságos szürkesége és a delírium ál-eufóriája között lebeg, miközben egy társadalom peremére szorult narkós banda és a Mandarin küzd egymással – ismerős, mégis álomszerű díszletek között. A színhely: egy metrómegálló. A tét: a vágy beteljesítése.

My Country is a cycle of six symphonic poems by the renowned Czech composer Bedřich Smetana, rooted in his love for his homeland. It is a celebration of the beauties of Czech nature, major national legends, and in part actual historical events as well.

EXISTENCE is a tango dance theatre work that follows along the journey of human life—from the drifting impetus of youth to the quiet insight of old age. This journey is born in the tango, in the intimacy of the embrace, through the deep connection between the soul and the body.

The Cherry Orchard dance theatre performance evokes the pain and beauty of change on the edge of a bygone world, where past and present are intertwined.

Milly egy fiatal lány, aki édesapjával és testvérével él egy kis munkásvárosban, miután édesanyját nagyon fiatalon elveszítette. Az élet kemény a városban, különösen a negyvenes évek idején, amikor az acélgyári sztrájk minden család életét próbára teszi.

Egy nap Milly véletlenül betéved egy balettórára, és ott felfedezi a tánc iránti mély szenvedélyét. A zene, a mozdulatok és a szabadság érzése egészen új világot nyit meg előtte — egy világot, amelyben végre önmaga lehet.

Quimby is an iconic band in Hungarian popular music. With their lyrics that are grotesque, humorous and bitterly optimistic all at the same time, their alternative rock songs capture the mood of young people after the fall of communism and a westernising world of Hungary as it opened its borders, sometimes losing its illusions, sometimes regaining them.

A Ringató foglalkozásokon megismertetjük a kisgyermekes családokkal a zenei nevelés lehetőségeit. Célunk, hogy a szülők és a gyerekek átéljék a közös éneklés és játék élményét. Várunk mindenkit, aki maga is úgy érzi, fontos az, hogy a művészet eszközeivel neveljünk, aki szívesen énekel, bővíti a dalkincsét, vagy éppen önmaga bátortalan az éneklésben.

Gyermektáncházba várjuk az érdeklődőket a Nemzeti Táncszínházban vasárnaponként 10:00-tól 11:30-ig. A programban moldvai és gyimesi népzene és néptáncok, énekes népi játékok, népmesék, a legkisebbek számára ölbeli játékok és kézművesség szerepelnek. Az esztendő menetét mondókákkal, a népszokások megelevenítésével követjük.

A Győri Balett előadása a világirodalom egyik leghíresebb románca, az Anna Karenina táncszínházi adaptációja, amelyet Velekei László Seregi- és Harangozó-díjas koreográfus állított színpadra. A Tolsztoj klasszikus művén alapuló koreográfia középpontjában Anna, a tragikus sorsú asszony áll, az ő szenvedélyes szerelmét, vívódásait és anticipált bukását ülteti át együttesünk a tánc nyelvére.

The aim of FrenÁk’s Nostalg_Y is not to reminisce about a specific age group or to make the audience cry, but to engage the audience in an intellectual and emotional game of association, where no one knows exactly who will become what, but where imagination can help everyone create a story that fits their expectations. Through randomly colliding, interconnected fragments, we gain insight into what human relations are hidden in the interactions between different generations: for example, between two young individuals who carry their older selves within them and two older characters who carry the consequences of the decisions made by their younger selves.

This all-art performance invites you to an interactive journey. Bees guide the little spectators through meadows, forests, swamps and deserts. In this way, the children cannot only be spectators but also participants and actors in the story, which is about saving bees.

A 20 éves fennállását ünneplő Gangaray Dance Company legújabb produkciója, a Down, egy misztikus utazásra invitálja a nézőket az érzelmek mélységeibe. A történet nélküli darab a zene erejével ragadja magával a közönséget, a Gangaray Experimental Music hipnozikus dallamai pedig megelevenednek a táncművészek lenyűgöző mozdulataiban. A női energia által vezérelt koreográfia a Gangaray védjegyévé vált lendülettel és eleganciával repíti a nézőket egy különleges élménybe.

Most meg mi történt? Leestél, lefagytál, szétszakadtál, ütköztél, eltörtél, beakadtál, lemerültél, megálltál? És hogyan tovább?

A Six Out of Seven újragondolja a hét főbűnt és a velük szemben álló erényeket, mint egy gyász által formált belső tájat.

A Lábujjhegyen új évadában ismét játékra hívja egymást (és a közönséget) a két előadó, Megyeri Léna tánckritikus és Bősze Ádám zenetörténész: minden előadáson egy-egy hívószót vagy témát körbejárva idézik meg a tánc- és zenetörténet legendás alakjait, megkerülhetetlen mesterműveit és lebilincselő történeteit.

A Lapozó, mint egy színes album, képeket, „táncképeket” pörget egymás után. A végigpörgetett képek rávilágítanak arra, hogy korunkban mekkora szerepet játszik a vizualitás. Képek, mozgóképek irdatlan tömege határozza meg a világunkat, az identitásunkat, uralja szociális interakcióinkat. A képek befolyásolnak, manipulálnak, torzítanak. Felértékelődik a saját kép. Az elképesztő képözön kihat a hiúságunkra is. Holott mindez csak hiábavalóság. Vanitas.

The Faces of Love is deeply rooted in three iconic works by Sándor Márai: Embers, Esther’s Inheritance, and Divorce in Buda. These works are significant not only for their literary value, but also for the way in which they masterfully and sensitively portray the deepest and most complex layers of the relationship between men and women, which are relevant in all times and cultures. The performance uses this rich emotional and philosophical background to stage the universal story of love in three distinct, yet intertwined images, with the help of live music and Márai’s poems.
