Egri Péter & The Mystery Gang Concert

“Eternal values are preserved by time…”

This is certainly true for rockabilly — a musical genre born in the 1950s and still played and celebrated by bands all over the world.
Fulfilling a childhood dream, Péter Egri founded The Mystery Gang to bring this world to life on stage — first through the classics of the great pioneers, and later through their own original songs.

With his band, Péter Egri has gained international recognition, attracting a large following both in Hungary and abroad, and inspiring countless admirers and imitators. Backed by several international awards and leading roles in major international productions, his latest album released in Hungary has also gone Gold.

Last year, another childhood dream came true when his production was ranked among the Top 25 international rockabilly performers in the United States, the birthplace of the genre. His distinctive performance style and authentic songwriting have been widely acclaimed, placing Budapest, Hungary and Central Europe firmly on the international rockabilly map.
At home, the band has built a massive and diverse audience — from young children to seniors.
