The British duo of Rob Brown and Sean Booth formed in 1987 and went on to become one of the most exciting experimental acts in electronic dance music. Over the years, the pioneering pair have released numerous albums that are now regarded as milestones in electronic music, and their influence on contemporary musicianship remains profound.
Launched this February, their TwentyTwentySix tour takes in dates across Japan, France, Germany and the UK, offering audiences at festivals such as Lunchmeat, ROBOT, Reworks and Indigo a singular sonic journey. In Budapest, they will perform at the House of Music Hungary, where the performance will take place in total darkness. The reason, as Sean Booth explains, is simple: “People have been dancing to music for thousands of years, right? And for the vast majority of that time, they didn’t have a massive LED wall trying to blind you.”
This concert of the Liszt Fest is presented by Müpa Budapest as a joint event with the House of Music Hungary.
