The music of the Double Weisz Quartet is built on an instinctive trust that stems from a childhood bond. The group was brought to life by the vision of János Weisz, while Gábor Weisz oversees the musical processes and guides them toward realization. In this environment, Ádám Sárdi’s pinpoint-precise bass lines and Dávid Szegő’s dense, dynamic drumming provide the stability upon which the two brothers can freely build.

At this year’s Babos Echo concert, marking the 77th anniversary of his birth, Gyula Babos’s grand guitar will be played by István Gyárfás on the Opus stage. Each year in the “Babos Echo” concert series, a different artist plays the instrument as a tribute to Gyula Babos’s musical legacy.

A zenekar az Újpesti Zeneiskola zenekari gyakorlatain alakult 2019-ben. Hamarosan az iskola falain kívül is kipróbálhatták magunkat, így nem sokkal később már jazzklubokban, rendezvényeken, esküvőkön is zenéltek.

After a long hiatus, one of Hungary’s most popular jazz formations, the Balázs Elemér Group, returns to the stage of Várkert Bazár. Having last performed here in 2020, their upcoming open-air concert promises to be a special summer evening for both the audience and the musicians.

Falusi Mariann sokoldalú énekesnőként a pop mellett a jazz műfajában is aktív: rendszeresen dolgozott együtt Presser Gáborral. Szólóestjein gyakran jazz-átiratokat és saját feldolgozásokat ad elő.
