Advent Concert - Benjamin Appl & Lautitia Mixed Choir

Every year, Müpa’s annual Advent concert offers a moment of contemplation and helps to evoke the holiday spirit amid the busy period of the festive preparations before Christmas. This year’s concert features the world-renowned German-British baritone, Benjamin Appl, as soloist.

Current events

In addition to performing at the traditional New Year’s concert, audiences might be familiar with his velvety smooth voice from the Kurtág100 Festival’s and Bartók Spring’s programmes. On this promisingly colourful and varied evening, he will be performing songs from his most recent album dedicated entirely to Christmas songs, while the Lautitia Choir Family, led by József Nemes from Debrecen, and the Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra, under the artistic direction of László G. Horváth, will also take the stage with their own productions
